Statement of the dispute

By Petr Matas

I am trying to gradually improve (I hope)

Crimean status referendum, 2014, an article on a quite controversial topic. From time to time, Volunteer Marek
jumps in and makes a major edit, usually involving reversions and deletions of multiple parts of the article and then he defends it by repeated reversions, sometimes even against a consensus, which is starting to form. This forces other editors to stop editing and reopen the content discussions, just to be allowed to restore the previous state plus VM's objections addressed. As VM's edits get burried under subsequent ones, it is very laborious to undo them when the discussion settles. It also hinders seriously the effort to reach consensus by editing.

Evidence

Desired outcome

I would like VM to understand that if he is quickly reverted, he should stop editing and discuss. Tagging of disputed material instead of its removal would help very much as well.
