Mmanti Umoh (born July 3, 1982 in Kano, Nigeria) is a Nigerian writer and intelligence/management consultant. She is the CEO of The PurplePatch Consults a management consultancy and training organization. She is the founder of Teenation.

Early life and education

Mfon schooled obtained her First School Leaving Certificate from the Kano Capital Primary school before she attended ECWA Baba Alhamdu Secondary School and Ace Academy respectively.

Career

Mfon has worked and trained for the Bureau for Public Service Reforms, the Electoral Reforms Network Nigeria, National Youth Service Corps, Microsoft and Google. She serves on the African Mentor’s Advisory Council and is a founding partner of the Ibom Professional and Entrepreneurial Women's Network. Mmanti sits on the Advisory Council of the Executive Assistants Network Africa. She also a certified trainer and consultant. Mmanti Umoh  was appointed Commonwealth Youth Chairperson by the commonwealth.[1] She took over from Ahmed Adamu.

Awards and recognition

She is a recipient of the award “Emerging African Leader Gemstone Award” from the EAL, Mmanti is a Fellow, United Kingdom Institute of Management Specialists, 7 Star Worker Inspirational Award. She also won the Outstanding Young Woman in Leadership Award by Wise Women Award.

Author

Mmanti co-authored Africa 80 with young Africans who have drawn inspiration from Mandela’s words as they collectively took it upon themselves the challenge of re-writing Africa’s narrative.

Public Talks

Mmanti is a frequent SheForum Africa speaker and trainer. She has delivered talks at the Policy Advocacy, Lobby on “Technology—The Fulcrum of New Age SMEs in Africa”, as part of Social Media Week 2015 (SMWLagos). She has moderated panel for the World Economic Forum, African Women in Leadership (AWLO – African Women In Leadership).
