I am Qflib. I try to help improve content in chemistry, physics, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, higher education, history, music, and popular culture, particularly film, comics, and animation.

I've got a strong interest in biography, and as a result have authored a few biographical pages of notable scientists and engineers when the need to do so has come to my attention. My observation is that we're missing a bunch of prominent scientists and engineers, so trying to help fill the gap a bit at a time. I guess that's sort of elf-ish!

I also spend a lot of time

gnoming
. Basically, I search up random pages, and when I can help correct grammatical or punctuation problems, find better citations, or improve the structure of an article, I chip in. Just trying to help make things better.

Lately I have been participating in RfCs. The discussions certainly help me understand a variety of different points of view on editing, which I think is invaluable.

I have feelings. Weird, right? And I know you do too, so I really want to try to work in a way that shows that I respect your work and contributions. If I fall short, please let me know and I'll do my best to improve and make things good.

If you'd like to drop me a personal note or one connected to general Wikipedia policy issues, please do so on my user Talk page. Notes regarding edits can either go there or on the article's Talk page.
