Development and casting

On 4 August 2022,

Ruttie Jinnah's character he stated that it would change the landscape of whole South Asian cinema.[1] In August 2023, it confirmed that Aly has withdrawn from the series.[6] The soundtrack of the series was relased on 14 August 2023 where the actors playing Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal, Mahatma Gandhi and Ruttie Jinnah were revealed.[7]

Principal photography

Principal photography was mainly held in Islamabad where Afzal depict the pre-partition Bombay and Neha Kumthekar served as the set designer.[9][10]

Promotion and release

A prologue of the series was released on 14 August 2022 on the occasion of Independence day.[11]

The frist season of the series is set to release on 14 August 2024 on digital platform Aur digital.[8]
