Lisa Barone is a well known blogger. Barone's childhood was spend on Long Island, NY. She received her higher education at Emerson College in Boston[1] [2] . . She is particularly well-know for her "live-blogging" of digital marketing conferences. She became Senior Writer for Bruce Clay, then was a co-founder of Outspoken Media along with Rhea Drysdale and Rea Hoffman. In September 2012, Barone became the Vice President of Strategy at Overit, a digital marketing agency in Albany, NY. [3]

Barone was cited by Google's Matt Cutts as being a source of quality posts[4] [5] .

In 2008, Barone was awarded two SEMMYs."SEMMY".</ref>.In 2010, she was awarded a SEMMY in the Rants category [6] . Barone was the recipient of a video message in the Old Spice campaign.[7]
