Reuben Chama Born in January 1, 1989[1]

Better known by his stage name Beeman, Natural Reaubensane, is a Zambian musician, singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer, is also the chief executive officer (CEO) of his own label imprint, Sane Family Studio[2] His music career started in 2006 but his full recognition came in 2010.

Life and career

Beeman Reaubensane was born as Reuben Chama on 01 January 1989 at Kitwe Central Hospital in Copperbelt Province to Mary Kamponge and Reuben Chibesa Chama. In 2006 he used to go to Y2J studios where his music interest grew. Beeman started off as a Producer/Rapper at Y2J Studios in 2008 and years later he Formed Sane Family Crew in 2012 consist of these members, Natural Rich, Mbinguster, Y2J, J Marko, Jedo Jackson, Y man, Delter, JustinGilbert, Lovely, One Copper, One Sir Gi, D Boy, Mikesane and Many More.. His first experience of rapping was through a rap battle at a School party at Kitwe Boys Secondary School in 2004, when he was 15 years old. In that battle, he, in his own words, "completely destroyed a useless wanker and a fight broke out so (he) sprinted School".

Reuben went on to do Graphic and Web-designing at Zambia Institute of Business Studies and Industrial Practice, graduating in 2014. It was during this period that he met Richard Chota, AKA Natural Rich, the producer whom he would go on to work with during his time releasing tracks independently through his All The Chats imprint, and later on Softtouch's label The Beats. Reuben and Richard made a concept album in the audio booth of the university film department; this concept album contained the track which would go on to be Sane Family's first Black-label vinyl release, "A Pointless Song."

Film making

He is An animator, he made his first short-video tittle " The Good and the Bad" in the abandoned Place Amatheon -Kaindu in Central Province, also filmed a 6-minute documentary cartoon in the Lusaka town that he visited, many of which still remain exactly as they were when they were abandoned after the the chewa and the bemba battle. He commented "I don't think anyone who's been here can have power...I've read stuff recently about how we're only ever going to survive if we make more jobs available, but you just think: why would you want it to happen after seeing this?

Personal life

Reuben Chama is the Brother of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Arts Fumba Chama.

He is married to Zambian Business Agatha Thaza. They became engaged in October 2014 and married on 14 December 2020. On 11 May 2015, Agatha Thaza announced the news that she and Reuben were expecting a child. On 18 August 2015 their Daughter, Manard Chama, was born. On 17 June 2017 Reuben announced the birth of their second child, Ethel Mwanipa Chama. The couple currently live in Kaindu-Amatheon, Mumbwa.

Reuben is involved with Payroll Administrator work and is an Assistant HR Officer Amatheon Agri.

Reuben is a supporter of Real Madrid F.C. /FC Bayern Munich
