HANAMASAGAR is a
DEMOGRAPHICS
As of 2010[update] India census, Hanamasagar had a population of 1500 with 800 males and 700 females.[1] Its one of small village near to Bijapur with post office in kambagi and babaleshwar hobli.
ATTRACTION
SHRI KARIGIRI SANGAM SHIVALINGWSHWAR PUNYASHRAM ,SUKSHETRA HANAMASAGAR
It is one of Hindu piligrim in northern district of karnataka.The Lord SHREE GURU CHAKRAVARTI SADASHIV MURTHY(MUTHYA)of BABALADI village in bijapur district had a mutt in Hanamasagar.Its one of BABALADI mutt among other.The biggest Shri SANGAMESHWAR temple has under the construction still from 1995 to now.Another small temples like JAI HANUMAN,LAXSHMI are there in village.KHAZA BANDE NAWAZ darga with maszid also there for muslim community.
AGRICULTURE
Total land of village having more than 80% of well fertile and cropping area.We have growing mainly sugar cane,grape,jawar,maize,lemon and small area of lemon,onion,turmeric etc are crop.Irrigation is mainly based upon water canal, borewells and wells
TRANSPORTATION
The hanamasagar is connected to main town bijapur via kambagi and babaleshwar has 42 km.Its having only one bus daily from bijapur to hanamasagar and vice-versa by devargennur bus otherwise we have to use one km walkable distance from village to hanamasagar cross in between kambagi and gunadal then we get galagali-bijapur buses,cabs,tempos,auto-rikshaws and jeeps for travelling to connect the places.
EDUCATION
In village there is Govt higher primary school has currently working with 1st to 8th standard having more than 150 students.The whole village have more than 50% of litarature.
TRUSTS
In village there are about 5 associations doing cultural,sports,programmes and other activites.SHRI GAJANAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION,Dr.RAJKUMAR FAN'S CLUB,SHRI NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE YOUTH ASSOCITION,SWAMI VIVEKANAND YOUTH ASSOCIATION AND AKKAMAHADEVI WOMEN ASSOCIATIONS are mainly established in this village.
FESTIVALS
The villagers are mainly cellabrated shri shivalingeshwar paramarthikotsava,shri hari pandurang vittal saptaha(dandhi),khaza bandenawaz uras and also kara hunnume,nagara panchami,deepavli,ugadi dasara in every year.
