SaiShri Prabhakaran
Sai Shri Prabhakaran ( born Bhuvaneswari on March 3, 1992 in Pudukottai )is an upcoming Indian actor from Tamil and Kannada film industry. Besides, SaiShri is also well known for TV commercials and short films in Tamil.
Sai Shri made her entry in to media as a Television anchor for Doordarshan Tamil alongside her academics. Further, her interest in films began at IIT-Madras where she pursued filmmaking courses alongside her research work. Her first media venture began during the year January 2020 for the film Indian-2 as a character artist. Followed by she has done notable performances for the film Hey Sinamika and Natchathiram Nagargiradhu.
Media Career
Sai Shri switched her career to full-time acting in the year 2022 as a lead artist for two simultaneous Tamil films - a surreal drama named "Fall from Grace" [1] and Rangoli. The film "Fall From Grace" has been awarded best creative film in the 7th Art Independent Film Festival in the year 2023 from Kerala. Rangoli is a theatrical release followed by an Amazon Prime video OTT release. Sai Shri has further established her acting career in Kannada films as a heroine for the movies Judgement(2022) and Untitled movie (2022)which are awaiting release.
Early life and Education
Sai Shri was raised in the residential campus of IIT-Madras, Chennai. She was an Engineering graduate. She completed her Master's by Research from the Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT-Madras. She was a recipient of prestigious international government scholarships from the Institute of Polish Academy
Personal and Social interest
Apart from academics, She indulged her leisure time as a tutor in Science and Mathematics. Sai Shri is fond of birds and animals since her childhood. One of Sai Shri's social causes is to strive for the welfare of animals.
