LONG LIVE THE KING

Long Live the king is the debut album of Samuel Oba Maagbe a veteran Sound Engineer, Producer and Writer. The Album is schedule to drop during the Summer of 2024.

ORIGIN

Similar to Dr Dre's detox Oba has made various tracks for the album which was meant to be relased in 2013 over a decade ago. However, Oba felt that as a highly anticipated album the quality was up to the high standards of music production, composure and quality of the songs were well below a classic and timeless master piece he sought out to produce as a result of this, the album was scrapped.

LONG LIVE THE KING 2024

Oba has began recording songs and even Premiered his fist Single called Toxic which was performed at Gemini Night Lounge/Night Club on his birthday, on the 10th of April. Toxic features a young and promising artist called Ononse Ekuri popularly know and Noni. The single was received well as Oba and Noni approached the track in an unorthodox style, not boxing his sound to any trend or formulaic sound that produces hits. However, Oba hasn't officially released the song yet

WRITTERS AND PRODUCERS

Oba produced 100 percent of the Tracks on the album so far but as an ode to his retired friend Flowsmith, a legendary producer in his own right Oba decided to use a co-produced beat as an ode to Flowsmith as they started the journey of production and sound engineering together.

Thus far from what we know the following artist for now that have been confirmed to be working on the album with him include: Noni, Elbee The Ghost, Bani Clava, Sir Duada and Dante.
