Pets
I have always loved dogs, especially golden retrievers. My family has has a total of 3 and I'm hoping to get another one in the near future. They are such kind and loyal animals. "They were named 'retriever' because of their ability to retrieve shot game undamaged due to their soft mouth. Golden retrievers have an instinctive love of water, and are easy to train to basic or advanced obedience standards[2]". The last Golden Retriever my family had, Shelby, loved to spend the entire day swimming in the lake. If we didn't tell her to come out the water, she would have stayed there forever! Their temperament is described as "Friendly, Intelligent, and Devoted [3]"
