Critical reception

In the February 2013 edition of the

Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books, reviewer Kate Quealy-Gainer praised the humor in Nate's "matter-of-fact, rapid-fire narration and endearing unawareness", noting that there was "plenty of substance to go along with the razzle-dazzle here, so sit back and enjoy the show."[2]
