Let's Stay Simple is a pop/rock band from Geneva, Switzerland.

History

Early Years

Let's Stay Simple was created at the beginning of decembre 2009. "Somewhere in the Sky", the first song ever written by the band, was played at the first rehearsal. Then came "Why Did You Go?" and "Fire". These three songs were played at the band's very first gig, which took place on the 31.12.2009, after a couple of rehersals (meaning 5!). The playlist had 4 songs (plus an intro, and including a cover). Then, the second gig took place on the 28.02.2010, for Guillaume Ulrich's birthday, where the band extended the repertoire and performed for 40 minutes.

At last, the first (real) concert was on the 09.04.2010. This was the coming of songs like "How Do You Do?", "Sunshine Promenade" and "Mr. Melancholy", a more developed writing, covering a wide range of styles, from gentle pop to heavy rock riffs, while having a touch of folk or jazz music.

Future Plans

Let's Stay Simple is working hard to be able to record an album in a couple of months. Apart from that, the group is planning concerts for the end of August and mid autumn and is going to sign up for the "Fête de la Musique" 2011 in Geneva.
