I decided to join Wikipedia because I realized a lot of articles, especially those about where I live, are barren and lack any real detail. And so I decided that it would be right to help share the knowledge I have and improve articles that deserve to be expanded. I don't know why I felt the need to start this account, I never edited an article before this, but I feel like it is important to preserve knowledge somewhere where it is nearly permanent and easy to access, especially that of local history as I know quite a few facts and events about my surrounding area that otherwise would've never been know.
