Hi. I love historical research detective work. My main interests (isn't everything interesting?) are ship-born plant exploration and the history of botany, botanical gardens, and herbaria; the Atlantic World through the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries; scientific illustration and botanical art; and biography of explorers, botanists, and artists.
