The Dallas Conservatory (TDC) is a private performing arts school for talented and serious students ages 8-18 of dance (emphasis on ballet with all genres offered); voice (musical theatre and classical); and acting (stage/TV/film). Founded in 2010 by Jacqueline Porter, TDC offers world-class training and performance opportunities to prepare for a possible professional career.

Students are selected by audition for their professional potential and mental readiness to embark on the vigorous training required to turn their passion for the arts into a profession. TDC students are trained, monitored and mentored to be competitive for 1) admission into America’s top arts universities, summer programs and apprentice companies, 2) college and summer scholarship offers, and 3) professional contracts.

The Dallas Conservatory currently shares studios, administration and faculty with Park Cities Studios. It includes a daytime education program with flexible academics, allowing pre-professional and professional students to reduce training and academics to just eight hours daily, from an average of twelve hours, and to allow flexibility for professional projects and travel.

The Dallas Conservatory brings guests to teach Masterclasses and Workshops. These performers and teachers come from all over the globe to share their expertise and experience with both the students of The Dallas Conservatory and the Dallas Dance and Theatre communities.
