Deepak Kumar Behera is an Indian academic and researcher. He is the current vice-chancellor of Berhampur University, Odisha, India.
Education
Behera pursued his M.Sc and Ph. D from Sambalpur University, Odisha.
Career
Behra has a teaching experience spanning for more than 30 years. Since 2002 he has been a full-time professor. In April–July he was a guest professor at
Tubingen University, Germany. He was a visitng professor at several universities such as University of Durban-Westville, South Africa (2001), department of Anthropology, University of Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa (2001, 2003), Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ]]\\, (2004) Aarhus University, Denmark (2011). He has written more than 100 research papers in different journals.[1]
