Marco Antonio Orsini (born August 21, 1965) is a director, producer and screenwriter of television and film, born in San Juan Puerto Rico, he is best known for his narrative and

Marco is also an advocate of film-making education and industry development in emerging countries and is a founding member and the current President of the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA), a non-profit entity that organizes, promotes and finances initiatives offering opportunities and development for the less fortunate through education in the film industry.

Marco began his film career at Riddle-Weinstock Entertainment, LLC where he was head of productions and produced multiple English and Spanish series primarily for the

Warner Bros and Sony
.

Films

Best known for his documentaries such as [The Reluctant Traveler (2009)], a narrative journey taking us deep into Ethiopia on an unexpected journey of cultural discovery, and winner of the Audience Award at the Jacksonville International Film Festival. Followed by the more thought provoking Dinner at the No-Go's (2011), a film that explores how western media affects religion and politics in the middle east, and provides an opportunity to see another point off view. Marcos earlier films include Mari conita de Jesus (2001) and Un Dia en la Vida (2005).

More recently his documentary [Gray Matters (2014)] which he wrote, produced and directed is an educational film exploring the life and career of designer and architect Eileen Gray has won notoriety and press plaudits [1] [2] [3] [4].

Charitable Activities

Marco has multiple charitable outlets, as a public speaker producer and host, at conferences and film industry events worldwide, the main focus of these being to provide opportunities to the less fortunate by providing access to, training and development of audiovisual storytelling for emergent filmmakers. Marco is also a Co founder and currently president of the International Emerging Film Talent Association a non profit based in Monaco that supports film related creativity in developing countries around the world.
