Elmira NY Article

• Mr. Marcy: I have not deleted any valuable resources from the Elmira NY article. I have removed content that is not encyclpedic in nature, has been posted by an anonymous poster, and the poster has not provided justification for the edits on the Talk Page as I have asked Him/Her to do each time I have removed his/her edits. I understand the links posted are to your personal website and while I applaud your use of the web to discuss topics of local interest, your website is gossip journalism and is not appropriate for Wikipedia. If you wish to discuss this issue on the Elmira NY Talk Page, present your reasoning for adding the link to the article. Wikipedia is not supposed to be used to promote your website - perhaps one of the other Wikimedia projects would be more appropriate. If you disagree, I respectfully ask you to take it to the Talk Page, as Wikipedia policy asks for. Thank You. Souldrifter 23:16, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
