Background

Yesua Aliki Uriah is a South Sudanese national, refugee photojournalist and storyteller in Bidibidi refugee settlement. Born on 14th April 1996 in Morobo County South Sudan. I'm married to Besta Ajio with one baby girl. He grow up in a family where people struggle with finance on daily basis to put food on table, his family eats one meal a day due to the financial hurdles.

Education journey

Yesua Aliki Uriah is a Diploma graduate in human resource management from Alison Institution in United Kingdom. I had graduated from Eminus academy Canada under the faculty of social enterprise and sustainable development goals through UNITAR AWARD to refugees to pursue their academic career.

He is the founder of Reliable Refugee storytellers Association, A youth refugee-led organization of refugee storytellers and self-taught citizen journalists who aught easy information access to evoke positive change for refugees and their partners through storytelling and journalism.

He worn the 2022 ,Male champions award by UN women through Refugee Law project for being gender champion in the refugee advocacy space in Uganda.
