have a look at the text you entered:[[File:AK47.jpg|400px]] : the part 400px tells pc to put 400 pixels, so making that number smaller/larger will do the same to your picture as below.

again. Look, ive looked about the pages about the oldest rock in earth "acasta gneiss" and i found a picture, it would be good for those who wish to see the rock but not have to do all the searching, as i did, so i found the picture but its not part of wikipedia, and i wish to insert it not as a link but as a normal picture, if you could post a tutorial on how to do all that + update the acasta gneiss page, you would help me ALOT!!!
