Adoption request

Hello there, 19maxx! I'm Netalarm and I've been around on Wikipedia for quite some time now. It appears that you've indicated that you want to be adopted on your user page. While you can wait for an adopter to come forward and offer to adopt you, I would highly recommend that you also actively seek an adopter. From the cases I've seen, I've noticed that it is often much faster if the adoptee also actively participates in the matching process.

When choosing an adopter (

talk page and ask to be adopted. If you have any questions about this process (or about Wikipedia in general), feel free to message me on my talk page
.

Once again, welcome to Wikipedia! Netalarmtalk 22:54, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the info! 19maxx (talk) 18:26, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Help Me!

Is there a notice for removing PII from an article?

Forgive what might be a dumb question, but what do you mean by PII? I've been with Wikipedia for many years, and haven't heard that acronym before (which doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that I've never run across it). If I knew what it was, I might be able to assist you. Let me know if you can give me a clearer idea of what you're wanting to do, and good luck! --McDoobAU93 02:00, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
PII means Personally Identifiable Information ♪♫19maxx♪♫ 02:03, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
I did see that when I looked up
WP:OVERSIGHT, but if you want to warn a user who's adding personal information about other editors, there is this template. Is this the type of notice you have in mind? --McDoobAU93
