French titles

Please don't lowercase French titles, like

MOS:FR#Capitalization. When in doubt, refer to the corresponding linked article in the French Wikipedia. Happy editing, Paradoctor (talk) 19:03, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply

Broken Circle Breakdown

Had read the Wiki article a couple years ago and do not recall the alternative name then. If you had stated clearly that your insertion was an alternative name rather than just drop it into a line it would not have looked so much like a prank edit. Anyway I presume you have reliable sources...Dankarl (talk) 22:37, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The alternative name in the wiki article is unsourced. I found a couple internet sources that seem to indicate the Alabama Monroe is the French title. I see no reason it needs to be in a secondary citation for an article on another topic. And next time learn how to space and punctuate.Dankarl (talk) 18:43, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, 5915961t. No, it's not "vandalism" for

WP:DRC. Mind you, I think Vif12vf was rude to remove your long explanatory comment, especially when they did it originally without even an edit summary. But the rules are on their side. Bishonen | tålk 09:52, 25 February 2020 (UTC).[reply

Hello 5915961t, you are to be commended for not getting into an edit war over your good faith edits to the Saar Protectorate article, and be assured that you also did the right thing by posting at Vif12vf's talk page to start a discussion. As uncivil as it was for him to delete your edits without an explanation and as rude as it was for him to also ignore your

After you've been reverted when trying to make a change to an article, you should take it to the Talk page for the article to try to get consensus, rather than edit war. Schazjmd (talk) 23:36, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I must point out that you've reverted the same edit three times on that article already. Please be aware that the

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Giannopoulos appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
