I have multiple people (all former and/or current users of Orbiter) reviewing the entry for editing and for updates. Orbiter was also published in multiple magazines over the years (simple entries to multipage reviews of it's service and social impact). Are these adequate for helping clean up the entry? The system was huge in the Volusia County area, and I'm feeling that, because it STILL exists (but ONLY as a smaller web hosting service, which STILL is not-for-profit, which actually gives more FREE hosting than it does paid-for) that this is the issue at hand. The WB:WEB "Notability" page is new to me, and I'm going to have to read it more indepth to try and figure out what I'm doing wrong. Being the sole "proprietor" of Orbiter, I felt it appropriate (of course) for me to ORIGINATE the article... but (again) have asked multiple people to review for me (literally minutes after I posted the article). Thanks.
Update: Orbiter Online's page has already been removed??
Orbiter Online material
I've moved this to User:AMMalena/Orbiter Online. But, please be aware: given that this website fails to have any rank at all at alexa.com, it is unlikely this site has sufficient notability for inclusion in Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (web). If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. --Durin 21:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

I'd surely like to understand what site Alexa has to do with this. I'm quite certain there are large quantities of entries in Wikipedia that do not have anything even POSTED to Alexa, much less that Alexa is any kind of driving force behind Wikipedia. As the entry I have posted states, Orbiter's [web traffic] is very minor at this point (several hundred hits per month) since the online service (BBS and web-based games) are all but non-existant. The sites it HOSTS are quite alive (malena.net, creeksideband.org, lakesidejazz.org and many more). And only two of the sites it hosts are PAY sites (where money is exchanged). The rest are community, school and non-profit sites.
I'd just like some guidance on what will make the article acceptable, that's all. I find it bizarre that such a fuss is happening over a system that has survived over 12 years and hosted so many events, online marriage, multiplayer competitions well before the "internet" anywhere near as popular as it is now... Orbiter is a landmark in the Central Florida area, so I take this as being MY FAILURE to create an adequate article, so I'm "begging" for more guidance. Thanks.
Update: Perhaps some web entries that would help?

Reponse to Gamweb: "No" should be simple enough. Orbiter Online hosts many websites for many non-profit endeavors, and the BBS portion of it, currently offline, is not gone. Thank you.
Golf Courses
Anthony, do you have any photos of the golf courses in Port Orange? I'm trying to embark on a project to make pages for the golf courses in Volusia County. Would appreciate it if you would upload any photos you may have to Wikimedia Commons. Thank you. Golf Courses in Port Orange Gamweb (talk) 05:00, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
