The Real World: Los Angeles
- I haven't read the Basketball Wives article, so I cannot comment on its lack of references, but one could speculate that because narrative works are self-sourcing for their own content, perhaps whoever wrote that passage figured that merely mentioning that she appeared in on The Real World: Los Angeles was sufficient, since her mere appearance on it can be verified by watching any given episode. But more specific stuff, like aspects of her personal life, require a more explicit citation, whether it's an episode cite, or some other source. But material can't be added to one article just because it appears in another, since that would violate WP:CIRCULAR. I've re-added most of the material you had previously added, with a cite to a page at VH1's website. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 11:24, 9 December 2011 (UTC)]
- Addendum: I took a look at the Basketball Wives article, and noticed that article also contains specific information that is unsourced, including personal info and material such as mentions of alleged infidelity on Kenny Robinson's part. This is not permitted. I added the aforementioned VH1 source, and paraphrased it a bit, but I removed the material not supported by that source. If you can find sources for that info, feel free to re-add it.
- In addition, I noticed that almost all of the main cast member info plagiarized copyright-protected content from VH1's website. This is not only against WP policy, but it's against the law. I removed that material, but it can always be re-added, so long as it is paraphrased, and citations are given for it. I'm sorry about the work that this means for editors on that article, but the person who added it in that fashion should not have done so, as it can get Wikipedia into legal trouble. Remarkably clean talk page you have
Something about your name here and edits interested me. Your edits are not so incredibly short. So, it's pretty amazing that other editors never seem to feel any reason to talk here. Anyway, no offense intended in marking up your talk page with stuff not about editing. You should get some kind of star for making inoffensive edits, I would think. No comments here since long ago means, with all your editing, you must be doing an awful lot right.173.15.152.77 (talk) 11:08, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Close paraphrasing
You identified Andrew Litton regarding close paraphrasing. Do you know which site you found that seemed to be close?
I'm trying to track down the problem, but it would be helpful if you identified the potential source.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 02:01, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks (and in retrospect, should have been obvious to me - I started with a Google search, foiund a small overlap with a minor website, and wondered if that was it, then asked without looking closely.)--SPhilbrick(Talk) 11:53, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John Spano, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kevin Connolly (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Vicious (TV series) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Big Poppa E , but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 06:33, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
