Apparently so... welcome! silsor 00:44, Mar 15, 2004 (UTC)

Welcome. Have you run into the Welsh-language Wikipedia? Marnanel 00:56, 15 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Wow, a celebrity, welcome :) Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. And don't spend too much time here, we need you to keep linux in shape. Dori | Talk 01:40, Mar 15, 2004 (UTC)

Given no-one's mentioned it yet (your slipping, lads!), the one useful and non-intuative feature on here is signing. Appending three tilde (~) characters will be replaced with your username, and using four will also add a timestamp. This is particuallry heavily used on the talk pages, where signing comments is the norm. Syntax 02:53, 15 Mar 2004 (UTC)

If this is the real Alan, maybe you can provide some insight into the image discussion on Talk:Alan Cox.

Thanks!

Why not just redirect to your wikipedia article?

If all you have in your User page is a link to your wikipedia article, why not just redirect? Just wondered. cow_2001 07:10, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
