HQ Trivia

Hi AlmNak, I wanted to alert you that our revision had been removed for the HQ Trivia article. I restored your version, and created a section on the article talk page to let everybody know what was going on. You should probably add to it just so people know I'm not just making things up. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks. 108.31.92.88 (talk) 11:28, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it as it is

Hello, I'm GorillaWarfare. I noticed that you made a change to an article, HQ (video game), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 01:54, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for informing me, as two sources were included I have reverted the page back. You've stated " but you didn't provide a source" to which was incorrect. Next time, I would suggest for you to take some time and check if sources were actually added or not before removing. Thanks AlmNack (talk) 08:50, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

wp:UGC, the hqtrivia.com does not support the content. Adakiko (talk) 10:21, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply

Thanks for your reply. As I can see how including a twitter link being an unreliable source, I can assure you that the web capture of the HQ Trivia site being an okay source, it depicts what the site looked like at it's given time during it's takeover. If you feel like I am incorrect, please feel free to state your reasons to which you have yet to clearly do. Thanks AlmNack (talk) 23:59, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why would a bot Twitter account be a

How does your assurance make it RS?
You added On January 3rd, 2023, HQ' s domain became inactive[1] That shows that it was inactive (if the bot is trustable) on Jan 3rd, not that it became inactive. This Twitter account, like most others, is not RS.
Later on in the evening of January 13th, 2023, a Discord user by the name of UntrustableRus was able to successfully gain control[2] That screen shot was uploaded just before this edit was made. Did you upload the screen shot? Photoshop, maybe? Reliable source? No.
That's just the first two citations. The rest of the citations, are more Twitter, and YouTube (another

If you look at the Wayback Machine, there are no captures that I could find where the website was functional: Wayback Machine: hqtrivia.com Was this website ever functional? Adakiko (talk) 07:51, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply, please allow me the next few minutes to clear up some things/. The tweet in question from the "HQMonitor" Twitter to me is a reliable source. Although the account is mainly ran by a bot, the tweet in question was manually posted by the account owner who so happens be a prominent member in the HQ community who has uncovered unused in-app features and game modes. As per the wayback machine, you stated "there are no captures that I could find where the website was functional" which leaves me to think that you haven't actually taken time to check the wayback machine for yourself as there are multiple captures that show it functional, from redirecting to their apple AppStore page, Jobs listing page, and application legals such as TOU, Privacy policy, etc. Finally, the screenshot I've shared that was taken from Discord was in fact not photoshopped, I uploaded the screenshot to use as a source. I am fully able to provide you a video of me going to the message directly to prove it being truthful as well as possibly getting other people to back this up. As much as I would like to thank you for keeping everything in check, I feel as if you are stoping from the apps history from being shared with the world and everyone interested. If you are inclined to remove anything from the wikipedia page, please try to talk with the person who made said changes to further back up their sources AlmNack (talk) 08:43, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
