I accidentally reverted a minor change you made to Extraction of petroleum. I restored your changes, but wanted to apologize for my mistake.

Thanks for you work here!

Copyediting feedback

Hi. I briefly looked at your work and remember that we either use simple past tense (He was rather than had been) or present tense depending on the situation per

WP:MOS. I recommend you practise on obscure articles which are in dire need of it and go to major articles when you feel experienced enough; they are usually fine. Ugog Nizdast (talk) 16:47, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply

India

Why did you change this:

"India, officially the Republic of India,[c] is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country (with over 1.2 billion people), and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west;[d] China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; and Myanmar (Burma) and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; in addition, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia. India's capital is New Delhi; other metropolises include Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad."

It is a very unprofessional edit, and there are grammatical errors to boot. You don't start sentences with 'And' this, 'And' that after a full stop on an encyclopaedia. I shall be reverting some of your edits.

I just reverted part of your grammar corrections

At the 2005 Webby Awards article, you recently changed a sentence to read:

Florida election recount
.

(red underlined punctuation was added by you)

Your edit summary indicated that this was done to improve the grammar, but I can't understand the purpose of the comma you inserted between "he delivered" and "the frequently-cited line". Those two sub-phrases make up parts of the

MOS:LQ. I've partially reverted this edit for now, but let's discuss it on the article's talk page if you think I've made an error. -Thibbs (talk) 22:35, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply
