Yes, I read the Dinamani source. But Dinamalar reads, "‘சிவலீலா’ படத்திற்காக, ‘பாட்டும் நானே பாவமும் நானே’ என்ற பாடலை, கவி.கா.மு.ஷெரீப் எழுதியிருந்தார். அந்தப் படத்தின் கதை உரையாடலோடு, அப்பாடலையும் எம்.ஏ.வேணு விற்றுவிட்டார். அது, கவிஞர் கண்ணதாசன் எழுதியதாக, திருவிளையாடல் படத்தில் இடம் பெற்றது (பக்.208) என, நூலாசிரியர் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். இந்த நூல், கா.மு.ஷெரீப்பின் வரலாறாக மட்டுமின்றி, தமிழின வரலாறாகவும், தமிழிலக்கிய வரலாறாகவும் திகழ்கிறது". கா.மு.ஷெரிப் இருக்கும் போது தான் கண்ணதாசனின் பதில் பத்திரிக்கையில் வந்தது. அதற்கு ஷெரிப் பதில் அளிக்கவில்லை. பலபேர் பலவிதமாக எழுதீருக்கிறார்கள். ஜெயகாந்தன் கூட தவறாக எழுதி இருக்கிறார். படத்தின் தயாரிப்பு டைரக்‌ஷன்.ஏ.பி.என்.அவர் நாடகமாக நடித்த சிவலீலாவை படமாக எடுத்தார்.இதற்கும் எம்.ஏ.வேணுவுக்கும் எந்த சம்பந்தமும் இல்லை.கண்ணதாசன் தான் எழுதினார் என்ற ஏ.பி.என்,கே.வி.மகாதேவன் இருவரும் சொல்லிய பின்னும் இது தொடர்கிறது என்றால்,இந்த மட்டமான செயல் யாருடைய தூண்டுதல் ? "பாட்டும் நானே பாவமும் நானே "பாடலை தன்னுடைய பாடல் என்று கா.மு.ஷெரிஃப் சொன்னது இல்லை. அவர் தன்னுடைய பாடல் என்று சொன்னது" இருக்கும் இடத்தை விட்டு இல்லாத இடம் தேடி" என்ற பாடலை. அதற்கு காரணம் பதிபக்தி என்ற படத்தில் அவர் அந்த பாடலை எழுதி இருக்கிறார். அதே பாடலை கண்ணதாசன் திருவருட்செல்வர் படத்தில் எழுதி இருக்கிறார்.இரண்டுக்கும் மூலமான பாடல், ஏ.பி.நாகராஜன் அவர்கள் நடித்த நாடகம் ஒன்றில் இடம் பெற்ற சங்கரதாஸ்சுவமிகளின் பாடல்.பதிபக்தி,திருவருட்செல்வர் பாடலை கேட்டால் உங்களுக்கு புரியும்...183.83.49.60 (talk) 08:03, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Kailash29792: I've removed the footnote regarding Sharif. The source from Dinamalar doesn't specifically state the song was used and rewritten by Kannadasan. Dinamani has simply made a specualtion regarding the same.
