G'day. I see you've added some images of basketballers and Richmond football players, that look very professional. If you did take them yourself, then well done, but if they are just copied from a website, then you can't claim that you own the copyright to them, and hence they will have to be deleted from wikipedia. With pre-season training, why don't you grab your camera and head down to the Tigers training and take some of your own snaps and then upload them. Have fun! Your upload of this image overwrote the original image (of a medieval abbey in Ireland). I've reverted the file to its original version. Please select a new filename for your image. In the future, when uploading a file, please make sure there's not already an image file on Wikipedia that's using that filename. Thank you. Dppowell (talk) 17:18, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Vukona mika d.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Vukona mika d.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

I've copied the Fair Use Rationale I wrote for the logo image that had been in the BasketBall NewZeland article & added it to the image you replaced it with (the one noted above). I'm not really sure why you replaced it, as they seem almost identical - but no big deal.. you may want to use this as an example to add Fair Use Rationale to some of the other logos that you uploaded. --Versageek 19:19, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:8676 1.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:8676 1.JPG.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

Blocked

I have just deleted several articles which you have copied from the http://www.wnbl.com.au website. I see you have a very long history of warnings for copyright violations, but you continue to upload articles and images without regard for the rights of the owners. Accordingly I have blocked your account indefinitely.-gadfium 06:26, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have unblocked you as requested in your email. The block was due to edits made using your account, not your brother's. If you suspect someone else is using your account, you should change your password, and log out after using Wikipedia.-gadfium 23:48, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Anth1234567890. You have new messages at Jake Wartenberg's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
  • As Jake says, use the
    Wikipedia:AFDHOWTO process and use it properly. Vandalism such as this edit will merely get you blocked. And this edit was so cack-handed that it could be considered vandalism. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 07:02, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply

Proposed deletion of Dave Thomas (basketball)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dave Thomas (basketball), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable basketball player, has not played at the highest level of the sport.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's

dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page
.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the

proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Mosmof (talk) 08:07, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply
