Don't hold off on submitting the proposal on my account; it's probably a good idea to get the opinions of others in any event—especially since I know nothing about the technical aspects of carrying out an automated task such as you propose. Are you doing it reciprocally though? Are you adding Wikipedia links to Open Library? In most cases, Wikipedia is probably the most thorough place for many works, so a link from the Open Library entry to Wikipedia would be beneficial to OL users and Wikipedia , Sadads (talk) 18:36, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:Novels and I recently started dabbling with Open Library and realized many of the books I work with here don't have links to those pages, so I started doing it by hand. But that only led to the realization that that would have been an impossibly long and tedious process.
