Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Bernie Sanders does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! bojo1498 talk 20:10, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Raven Tools, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See
    Wikipedia:FAQ/Business
    for more information.
  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See
section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • Almost the entire article is promoting the products, virtually nothing factual about the company
  • You have an "accolades" section, but no criticism. Accolades, incidentally, usually involve awards, not a couple of on-line commentators saying something about them
  • An example of unsourced claims presented as fact include: Raven Tools’ unique reporting and research functions have received attention from several marketing websites and blogs— more accurately, one blogger has recommended it.

It's not the worse I've seen, and if you want to try again, I'll post the deleted text to a user subpage for you to work on, just let me know. Note, however, that I'm on holiday from later today, so if I've gone, you may need to go to WP:Requests for undeletion.
