Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

- In this edit, you removed the proposed deletion from consensusthat:
Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun.(see
WP:NFF)- Nothing you have added to the article addresses the fact that, although Depp's and Burton's involvement means this will be a "high profile" film, it has not yet gotten off the ground, and any casting decisions (e.g. articles for deletion to let the community sort this out. - Hello, I would like to apologize if I broke any rules by deleting that template. It's been a while since I edited wikipedia so I'm a bit rusty on this and I will try my best to dring the Dark Shadows page in a good light.--Barnabasmcavoy (talk) 18:52, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- No, you didn't break any rules. A user is allowed to remove a proposed deletion tag that has been placed on an article they authored, with proper explanation. You explained your reasoning and, although I disagree with it, it is sufficient to avoid having the article deleted without a consensus being reached. Therefore, the AFD process will allow for that consensus. I suggest you weigh in there to have your voice be heard in the discussion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:39, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, Barnabas! Thanks for creating the article about the project. It has been in development since 2007, so I am recommending a merge to the TV series article until filming is verified to have begun. This is the usual threshold per the Forty-seven Ronin#Planned film, and I plan to create a stand-alone article if filming begins. Otherwise, the project may not enter production, and we would not have a real film article. Depp has been involved with some projects that don't become films; one example I've worked on is Shantaram (novel)#Film adaptation. Erik (talk | contribs) 23:33, 2 March 2011 (UTC)]
