A NotTheWikipediaWeekly message
Hi folks,
I've confirmed a time for the next conversation on Tuesday night, US time, (Wednesday, 02.30 UTC). Huge apologies that this isn't going to be good for Euro folk, and I know Anthony and Peter will likely be unable to attend therefore. It's possible we need a bit of a wiki effort at the
If you are able to attend at the given time, please do head over to

RE: Some POV stuff
It would be easier to say if I could see the edits, but as a generalization, it probably isn't. --
- Meh, I don't think that it would be POV as long as you don't touch something regarding opinion or add yourself to the staff list or something :P --Sign) 04:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)]

Re: Need help!
Hey there! Regarding the red links, I would suggest
Also, yes, the userspace links on my page no longer function, because I deleted all the previous versions of my page since it used to contain some personally-identifiable information. And Risk does sound fun, though I've recently gotten into EVE Online, and if I'm not here, I'm normally there, lol. Cheers! — Huntster (t • @ • c) 03:22, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for being kind!

RE: RfA question
Meh, I don't care about the mess :P As for the RfA thing, I don't think so - what screws up the bot is having an empty * in one of the vote sections. Of course, such a bug may exist, but I haven't heard about it. --
- Okay. Someone had mentioned it somewhere, when i was looking for dramaz. Also, i've seen some "X:0:0" counts on a page when actually there has been a single oppose or a neutral. But that just may have been a lazy bot. Thanks for the help again :D (Talk) 20:47, 19 August 2008 (UTC)]

FIXED USERPAGE
I HAVE FIXED YOUR USERPAGE SO IT MEETS THE MINIMUM KAT QUOTA. Ceiling Cat (talk) 23:07, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Your discussion of Keyserling's fuhrerprinzip does relies to much on Plato. The "philosopher Kings" reference is out of place and not on point. Remove it or I will remove the fuhrerprinzip from Schopenhauer's article. Also, the Nazi flag on the page is also out of place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.20.143.93 (talk) 14:55, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- It probably is. I wouldnt have a clue. I only reverted valdalism once on that article. I have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest you talk to people who have actually edited that page. Have a good day :) (Talk) 15:22, 28 August 2008 (UTC)]
Re.:Vandalism
That was NOT Vandalism at all!
I was answering another contributor's inquiry made in that article. He/She asked about WHY the term The shits redirected to
- Someone on that article's talk page also asked about the "American expression the shits", when he/she had seen it on a TV show. See the article's Talk Page, Re.:"The shits". Hope this helps. 205.240.146.148 (talk) 23:58, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Patent nonsense
Articles that are clearly patent nonsense can be marked for speedy deletion under category g3, vandalism. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 21:30, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
My RfA
Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which passed with a count of (154/3/2). I appreciate the community's trust in me, and I will do my best to be sure it won't regret handing me the mop. I am honored by your trust and your support. Again, thank you. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 19:49, 27 September 2008 (UTC) |

This barnstar is in honor of your depressing, unloved presence on IRC on Valentine's Day, 2009. Roses and kisses work for some, but you, noble Wikipedian, have important things to discuss on the internet with people you barely know who you'll probably never meet. Here's to you! How was my edit not constructive? People who see that piece of garbage movie will think that's exactly what the book is like and that isn't true at all. Please revert your edit now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.28.70.129 (talk) 23:00, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Oh, the irony of this situation.
I had made an edit to the article
While I can understand that most single word edits that change a correct spelling to an incorrect spelling are acts of vandalism, I did go out of the way to include a descriptive edit summary. I had hoped that the edit summary would have given the vandalism patrol pause, that it would have perhaps encouraged at least a bit of research into the topic, especially since I ended the summary with a note requesting that the edit not be reverted. I've made my good faith effort to try to make an improvement, and I'll leave it to you to review the topic and to undo your revert or not, as you see fit.
At the very least, I would encourage you to at least watch the Animaniacs segment in question in full, as it does have the signifigance of being one of the earliest pop culture recognitions of the internet's power for collecting and categorizing even the smallest facts. And after all, isn't that the spirit that drives Wikipedia? 72.28.177.52 (talk) 12:10, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
