2016 Wikimedia Foundation Executive Director Search Community Survey

The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation has appointed a committee to lead the search for the foundation’s next Executive Director. One of our first tasks is to write the job description of the executive director position, and we are asking for input from the Wikimedia community. Please take a few minutes and complete this survey to help us better understand community and staff expectations for the Wikimedia Foundation Executive Director.

Cortus Page

Hi Blythwood, thanks for your feedback on my creation of the Cortus page. Following your advice I have added some references to articles that are not from our company page. I have also added a disclosure for my connection with Cortus (I am an employee, not that I hid the fact with my username or e-mail address ;-) ). I am aware of the neutral point of view and have endeavoured to keep the text free of marketing and using only clear, verifiable facts.

Thanks for your help.

Fresco y Mas Page

Hello! I edited the Fresco y Mas article to come across from a neutral stance, yet it still got deleted overnight. I made all of the necessary changes that were provided to me beforehand, what do I need to do to keep this page up?

Yes I would love your help! Can that article be brought back and then you help me edit it from there to be as neutral as possible? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amstefan (talkcontribs) 18:16, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How do I disclose my information on a page that has now been deleted. Do I just note it on my personal account page? I understand that it is necessary. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amstefan (talkcontribs) 18:50, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My personal page has the appropriate disclosure! From this point, do I need to create the Fresco y Más page from scratch again keeping it short and strictly informational?

  • @Arthistorian1977: - oh goodness, yes, I forgot about the normal system for disambiguation pages when creating this. This can just be deleted. Blythwood (talk) 12:39, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bond Aviation Group

Hi Blythwood.

Yes I work for Babcock so will see about doing the COI - although I'm a bit unclear on how to do it! Still learning the ropes, so any tips gratefully received. Not sure I'm even doing this correctly! I suggested the deletion of the Bond Aviation Group page not because the company has been bought, but because it no longer exists. Not going to worry about it too much though, as long as it doesn't mislead people unintentionally. (Flerg (talk) 12:55, 23 June 2016 (UTC))[reply]
