Actually, I thought the words "an account of the activities and visions of Daniel" should be retained as they provide a succinct and objective summary of the contents of the book, as well as the message. The wording of the template you used indicates it's intended for use at the beginning of the citation. I had not seen this particular template before; that's why I didn't notice it there.
