Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you for adding Assemblies of Yahweh to the Bethel, Berks County, Pennsylvania page, although it was a few years back, it still was a pleasant surprise. Keep up the good work. In Citer (talk) 10:29, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Menachem

Notice

The article

Menachem has been proposed for deletion
because of the following concern:

Superfluous article based upon an alternate (and less accurate) transliteration of the Hebrew name Menahem (disambiguation) מנחם; both are acceptable (and mostly interchangeable) transliterations of the exact same name and should all be listed in one place.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. StonyBrook (talk) 01:26, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just to be clear, I am proposing that

Menachem be eventually redirected to Menahem (disambiguation) after the entire list is moved. StonyBrook (talk) 01:26, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply

Daniel mundane

Hi Bob. The word "mundane" was being used in the sense of earthly rather than boring, but since you're not the first to object I'm happy to remove it. Achar Sva (talk) 09:02, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Achar Sva. Actually, I thought the words "an account of the activities and visions of Daniel" should be retained as they provide a succinct and objective summary of the contents of the book, as well as the message. I agree about the message but I would balance this with the contents. - BobKilcoyne (talk) 04:51, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I've fixed that up now.Achar Sva (talk) 11:32, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of OMB Circulars

Thank you -- this is an important list.

I had such an adverse experience trying to create the article "Executive_Order_12866" that I gave up trying to edit. Use this information if it floats your boat.

If I were still editing, I would add OMB Bulletins to the list? From https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/information-for-agencies/bulletins The ones whose lifetimes extends past a single fiscal year include --

Revised Delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas, Micropolitan Statistical Areas, and Combined Statistical Areas, and Guidance on Uses of Delineations of These Areas https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Bulletin-20-01.pdf

Copying licensed material requires attribution

Hi. I see in a recent addition to British government response to the COVID-19 pandemic you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 21:05, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Diannaa, thanks for this but do you really think that the attribution needs to be added at the end of every line? This seems to me to be rather excessive. - BobKilcoyne (talk) 05:55, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I see it now. You have an attribution template at the beginning of the citation, so one is not actually needed where I added it. Sorry for the mistake.— Diannaa (talk) 14:16, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - so which place would be best for the attribution, at the beginning of the citation, after the fourth bullet point in this section, or somewhere else? - BobKilcoyne (talk) 16:51, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The wording of the template you used indicates it's intended for use at the beginning of the citation. I had not seen this particular template before; that's why I didn't notice it there. The way I do it adds attribution at the end of the citation. Both are okay. — Diannaa (talk) 20:21, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
