If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with TIPS Business Litigation Committee. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tad Lincoln (talk) 20:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply

My familiarity with the company has nothing to do with it. Your initial article was an advertisement, and the burden is on you, the author, to show the notability of the subject by providing reputable third-party sources.Tad Lincoln (talk) 22:29, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A friendly suggestion

I saw the various frantic-sounding comments you inserted on TIPS Business Litigation Committee asking for time to edit the article. There is nothing stopping you from researching and polishing an article off-line and then submitting it to Wikipedia. As you are a law student, I'm sure you wouldn't submit an unedited first draft of your paper to your professor and then ask to revise it after she graded it. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 15:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Calcio20/Business Litigation Committee, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See
    Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations
    for more information.
  • It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that
