Please do not edit war

I know you have generated material as part of your course and are trying to find a place to put it. you and your colleague added this content in these difs; i reverted in this dif with edit note "not a reliable source; text is not true, and not NPOV and encyclopedic in tone. Please discuss on Talk as per

WP:BRD; please do not edit war)". You went ahead and added it right back in this dif with no edit note and with no discussion. Please do not edit war - please discuss things on Talk, which is how we do things in Wikipedia. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 21:12, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. fish eggs

The text you keep adding says "There are currently no genetically modified animals on the food market, but as of November 2013 GM salmon eggs have gained approval from FDA and awaiting more regulatory approval to enter the commercial market." But the source you brought says: "Last week, the company got permission from Environment Canada to ramp up production of salmon eggs from research levels to greater commercial quantities." The FDA has not cleared these salmon. Please stop editing warring on both these passages. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 00:23, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
