Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. 2001:41d0:fc00::/38 is a DSL range (source: RIPE database). Changaco (talk) 08:21, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Lowered the block to anon-only for now. We'll see if the prior abusive editing from the range resumes. If it does, I'm afraid we'll have to re-up it to a hard block, in which case you'll have to apply for

My COI is duly declared in the Talk page. Your reversal of my changes is rude and unjustified, I will restore them. Changaco (talk) 12:24, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I can see that you here have declared a conflict of interest, but from the message "This user has contributed to the article. This user has declared a connection." I am unable to discern what that connection is. --Bensin (talk) 12:37, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the founder of Liberapay. I have now updated the COI box so that it links to my declaration. -- Changaco (talk) 12:55, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Edit warring, appears to be more than 3 reverts in 24 hours: Special:Diff/1140147492, Special:Diff/1140144706, Special:Diff/1140134983, Special:Diff/1140133555, Special:Diff/1140128108, Special:Diff/1140126970 Yae4 (talk) 03:22, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You're the one who started an edit war and continued it even after a neutral third-party expressed their opinion that the changes I had made were "uncontroversial" and "should not have been reverted".[1] I made time-consuming efforts to explain my changes, split them up and adapt them. On the other hand, you admitted, in the "justification" of your second reversal, that you hadn't even spent time to fully consider the value of some of my changes, partly because you believed that the Liberapay article might not meet Wikipedia's notability criteria and thus wasn't worthy of your time. Well, there's nothing forcing you to edit that article, so feel free to stop. Changaco (talk) 12:37, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
