Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WP:MERGE the contents of the article into Migrants around Calais under the history section rather than to delete the article entirely? I currently do not have any time to do this myself, however I do not believe anyone would object to this and so could be done without discussion. Perhaps you're able to do this.
