Thanks! Especially for the cookies. Might be hard to get used to this place, I'm used to SPOV. But I think I can adapt quite well. --ConservapediaUndergroundResistor (talk) 21:59, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly suggestion in regards to your signature in respect to Wikipedia guidelines

I'd like to draw your attention to

WP:SIG#Customizing_your_signature. In its current state
, your signature violates the following rules:

  • WP:SIG#Appearance and color
: Big fonts are not allowed here (fortunately).
  • WP:SIG#Length
: The code is too long, three lines on my monitor. Though there's no hard limit (except the 255 character limit enforced by the software), people are going to be annoyed.
  • WP:SIG#Internal links
: It does not contain an internal link to your userpage, talk page or contributions. Your signature must contain a link to at least one of these.
  • WP:SIG#External links
: You may not put external links into your sig.

Please change it so that it conforms to the guidelines. Thank you.

In addition, the external links don't work because you inserted a pipe (I). --  Nx/talk  17:35, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For every category you create, you should specify parent categories to which it belongs. You can do this by listing the parents near the bottom of the page, each enclosed in double brackets like so:

[[Category:Wikipedians by website]]
[[Category:Hypothetical second category]]

I am a human being, not a bot, so you can contact me if you have questions about this. Best regards, --Stepheng3 (talk) 17:49, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are encouraged to

change in username
by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may
guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 11:29, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply
