Hi! I'm thinking about proposing some anti-copyvio measures on my home wiki, and CorenSearchBot is a very interesting tool:) I see some variables and comments in the source code of the bot that give hints how to run it on any wiki. Encyclopine.org seems to be a copy of Wikipedia. diff

I created the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Awards 2014 page last night with a cited reference, and it was immediately tagged, then deleted today. That same page with virtually identical information was created again today with no tag at all. Jzummak (talk) 02:12, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Currently the portal's section "help out" lacks "Create these articles", "Represent a worldwide view" and "Add historical information", which is odd since there are still plenty of notable uncreated articles, e.g. smokers' rights and Joseph Charles Aub, plenty of articles with geographic imbalances and plenty of articles lacking sufficient historical information, and the issues are no less serious than the fact that there are still many articles requiring update. So please go to that page and support my proposal to add "Create these articles", "Represent a worldwide view" and "Add historical information" to the section "help out".--RekishiEJ (talk) 04:01, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Content from http://www.geograph.org.uk/ is CC BY-SA 2.0 see http://www.geograph.org.uk/faq.php#opensource. They've even built a special tool to make easy uploads to Commons. Is it possible for the bot to be set to not flag text copied from there? -Arb. (talk) 20:33, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
