Hi,

Whilst I do care about this very noble charity, the article is likely to be deleted, because it only has "primary sources" (ie their own website).

Articles must be based on information from 'independent, reliable sources - such as newspaper articles about the charity (but not PR!).

Please review

WP:PSCOI
.

I hope that you will be able to improve it; the article might have to be a lot shorter, but at least it would survive.

Edit:

I've done some searching on Google, and unfortunately, I don't think it meets the

basic requirements for an article
. I couldn't find "significant coverage in intependent, reliable sources".

Also, your user name is a bit of a problem, I'll post a template about that below. 86.20.193.222 (talk) 18:14, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Cotmekong", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. 86.20.193.222 (talk) 18:15, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Children of the Mekong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails
WP:ORGDEPTH
notability for lack of available reliable source. Cited sources are not independent.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - MrX 16:53, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. TheSandDoctor Talk 04:49, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
