Unneeded confusion

Your edit to the LGBT rights in the State of Palestine in which you added the words ", but under Islamic law which prohibits "sodomy" and homosexuality" adds unnecessary confusion. It has been reversed. Please make sure to not do such edits in the future. Thanks. Historyday01 (talk) 02:43, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think its more confusing to not mention the actual danger of being LGBTQ+ in Gaza in the main side paregraph and then mention it in another paregraph, People are seen using this as an excuse saying Gaza is LGBTQ+ friendly when infact its not, without regards to the "British 1936 Sexual offences provisions to homosexual conduct" homosexuality will still get you prosecuted under basic islamic law which is the rulling law in the Hamas government in Gaza
as stated here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_law . CottenEyeJew69 (talk) 23:49, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. But the
Palestinian National Authority effectively does NOT rule over Gaza, that is the Hamas, meaning the Palestinian law page wouldn't apply (also that page doesn't even mention anything about LGBTQ+ people). There are separate laws for Gaza and the West Bank, as Fatah controls the West Bank and Hamas controls Gaza. The page already makes this clear. The page actually makes it pretty clear it is precarious for LGBTQ+ people in Gaza (and the West Bank). This is most clear in the "Civil rights and government action" section. The page was in a disaster zone before I came around and fixed it, and it is in a MUCH better place than it was before. Historyday01 (talk) 00:42, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply
