I don't understand why my edits were cancelled can you please give me a reason so I can fix it?

I don't understand why my edits were cancelled, I didn't put incitements to violence I just adjusted the plot since I have found it a little too short and confusing. Can you explain why so I can try to fix it please? Crystal890 (talk) 21:20, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see where someone said you were inciting violence. You did post a lengthy plot summary- plot summaries should be short,

MOS:PLOT states that plot summaries for films should be 400 to 700 words; the same principle applies to other creative works like video games. Only a very brief overview should be given, intricate details are not needed. 331dot (talk) 21:45, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply

The advice at

WP:PLOTBLOAT outlines how plots in movies should be approached, and it's useful for a series episode, too. To deal with guidelines on size, it's usually a matter of what not to put in. Plots aren't meant to be an account of everything that happens. The plot describes what happens, so background explanations can usually be cut. I find when a plot states "Bob fails to ask for directions, due to the stereotype about men, and because he was laughed at once, since his shyness makes him awkward with strangers.", there's too much explaining the action instead of reporting it. @CycloneYorisDear Mr. Cyclone I am sorry if I reply to this message it is not my intention to disturb you however, and I hope that you can forgive me and don't block me for this reply, I would like to at least explain to you that my changes are not the result of original research they come from the series itself, series that I have seen several times in both languages and what I inserted came directly from the series itself. Unfortunately, in the main page of the series there is no one for more than four years and while I would like to write a request topic I wouldn't really know who to ask directly for permission and that's why I would like to ask you if at least in the next few days I could try to improve the summaries of the other two seasons since I noticed some mistakes in certain points please, at least if it is possible also in the Italian Wikipedia and I don't say in the immediate but at least to try to fix some points that mix a bit both the Japanese and English versions best regards Crystal890 (talk) Crystal890 (talk) 23:28, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you submit your changes once more, and wait for another editor to review them. Otherwise you would have to seek consensus on the article's talk page before proceeding forward. I have no opinion on the Italian and Japanese versions of the article, since I don't edit there, but I strongly recommend you seek consensus there as well. I sent a message to the last editor I saw who edited the third season. So do I have permission, at least for you sir, to edit the summaries of the seasons, in these days, or of the characters in case I find mistakes or missing pieces please? And for case sir do you have a advice to how I can demostrate that my are they sources directly from the anime?
