After Checking the Criteria for Speedy Deletion, I noticed that my article does NOT fit the criteria. There is no possible way that the notability, which was included in the article, was read in the amount of time between submission and deletion. I am going to update the article again and if there is an inquiry of the significance of the article, it can be sent to me or found within the article rather than deleting my article. —The preceding

Hello. I looked at the article. Basically, it suffers from a couple of problems, which you can hopefully avoid in the future:

  • It's somewhat over-explanatory. For example, you don't need to explain what clans are, as we have
    Clan (computer gaming)
    article.
  • There's few links, and the article lacked categories. You should link articles to other articles, as this makes finding more information easier.
  • Somewhat glowing language, with unspecified sources of praise. For example, "Undoubtedly the legacy of Clan Dark Legion has had a tremendous impact upon the gaming world, and it continues to set the standards for successful gaming clans worldwide." Wikipedia has a policy of using
    reliable sources
    . This should help.
  • There was few sources that would have confirmed the clan's notability. Regrettably, Wikipedia assumes game clans are generally not notable, and needs some good proof to contrary. Anyone can claim anything they want, but regrettably, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

Finally, If this article is deleted, don't be disappointed. Firstly, remember the bar of inclusion is very high for people, groups and companies. Try to prepare the article in conformance to the policies, without biting more than you can swallow. If you are convinced this clan passes the notability requirements, there's media sources or other reliable sources that talk about the clan, and so on, feel free to recreate the article. --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 18:17, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
