Maybe de word "Dawn" describes better the term "Madrugada" than "early morning" as the latter describes already when there is light and native speakers of Spanish use it to describe the time even before the light is visible but it is almost coming. It can also be used as a verb to say that you rose up earlier than everyone else for whatever reason. For example " Hoy Madrugué" meaning "today I woke up very early" Regards,
