George Moore (novelist)‎

You added an LBSG category to

reliable source to support this. Do you have such a source? Otherwise it is just hearsay or synthesis. ww2censor (talk) 00:42, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply
]

You are correct. I have added the citation to the Brian Lacey book which speaks to Moore's sexuality. Many thanks for your suggestion.--Wondermachine (talk) 07:30, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As the casual Wikipedian won't have easy access to Lacey's book, could you perhaps include relevant information from (and about) the book in the article? For example: on what evidence does Lacey base his claim? How has Lacey's conclusion been received academically? From what ww2censor says above, this may not be a widely-held idea about Moore, so how does including Lacey's conclusions hold up against
WP:UNDUE? Thanks. Aylad ['ɑɪlæd] 18:25, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply

March 2024

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Joni Mitchell. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Graham87 (talk) 03:57, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The reliable source is Wikipedia's own listing of Order of Canada recipients and their election dates. Wondermachine (talk) 04:10, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not a reliable source for itself; we need a reference that specifically describes Mitchell, Lightfoot, and Cohen in that way. Graham87 (talk) 10:30, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply
