Archenemy

Very well. I don't have an problem with this. The main problem is an IP editor doesn't like the other archenemies (Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin) to be considered archenemies and keeps deleting that and that's why he created that discussion. Someone said that they were archenemies too he reverted it and I reverted it back saying that it should be clear on how it works on the archenemy article. But I did agree with Asgardian that using an certain more elaborate sentence instead of the simple term archenemy could be better. Jhenderson777 (talk) 20:27, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that more elaborate terms would be nice to add, but archenemy is a very commonly used word in comics, and has certain connotations which are applied uniquely with its use. Aside from that, a 1st-party quote is just about the most powerful thing you can defend a case with on Wikipedia. Personally, I only watch a few pages, including the Venom page, but I'm sure the community can resolve the issue with the IP on those other two pages. --Darktower 12345 20:44, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I understand and sorry if I give you a hard time. I am normally on or watching something Spidey related or comic book related and I am an natural at patroling
List of fictional archenemies on Wikipedia so I already knowing who's archenemy of who in comic books and of comic book characters in particular. Thank you for the source in Webster. Jhenderson777 (talk) 21:21, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply
