The reason we can't accept those edits on
- Regarding the ABBA article again: People are getting uppity about each other, and I'm stepping in to see what I can do. I wondered if you wouldn't mind a few editing tips?
- Most of your edits, especially this one are very good, and I commend you on them! However, for edits like this, we need proof that they're characterised by that sort of sound - proof which I'm afraid is impossible to find. That ABBA are 'characterised by an uplifting but melancholy sound' is an opinion, as much as it's probably true, and impossible to prove. This is why your edits keep getting reverted. Sorry! - Anyone can use warning templates, but there are strict rules regarding their use. The fact is that irregardless of how much you know about ABBA, or what company you work for, Wikipedia has a strict policy on 'neutral point of view', and another fundamental tenet of Wikipedia is community concensus. The current concensus is that your edits don't belong in the article. The accepted thing to do is to take your arguement to the talk page, and if it's still rejected, there isn't much you can do, except perhaps file an official HawkerTyphoon 08:45, 15 September 2006 (UTC)]

Edits regarding Ice Cream
Do you have any sources for the claims that you put in there? Thanks. JoshuaZ 23:08, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Dave, you need to read no original research. Calling up a store is unfortunately original research and so cannot be included under that basis. If you could, for example find a newspaper or other source which made the claim then we could put it in. JoshuaZ 23:35, 21 September 2006 (UTC)]
Inquiry on my talk page.
The references for the ice cream claim you gave might be a start. I'll try to track down some of the claimed quotes on that webpage, especially the New York Times one which would probably do a large part of the sourcing. I would still strongly suggest you read

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Quincy Jones production discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Girl Talk (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Helen Lederer in black and gold.jpg

List of songs written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil
"See That Girl" was not a chart hit or otherwise notable, so far as I know - so, it shouldn't really be added to the list. The point of the list is not to include every song they wrote, but only those that made the charts in any version, or had some other reason for notability. - "See That Girl" has been a fixture of Righteous Brothers greatest hits packages since their first in 1966. I appreciate that a BM/CW List of Songs is not meant to be comprehensive, but "See That Girl" is, I feel, a notable and relevant track, especially considering BM/CW's track record with the Righteous Brothers: http://www.allmusic.com/song/see-that-girl-mt0005384073 — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavidOPerson (talk • contribs) 22:47, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
