The evolution article

Hi David,

Are you sure that you created the evolution article? Your edit to it is the ]first one recorded in the current English Wikipedia database, but there is a site called Nostalgia Wikipedia, which is a copy of the Wikipedia database from 21 December 2001. Its history of the evolution article shows an edit from 6 November 2001 by AxelBoldt. There is also a version of the article from April 2001 from the Wayback Machine, and your earliest recorded edit is from September 2001. I love checking out old Wikipedia history - see my user page. Yes I'm sure I started the article. Axel and I were the primary contributors for a few months. We tried to shepherd in the "creationism" submissions while maintaining NPOV. --David Merrill 08:14, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
